Who We Are

Valley Community School has four sites in Merced County including Juvenile Hall. The mission of Valley Community School is to provide a safe and encouraging atmosphere where staff, students, family, and community members work together to create a learning environment where all participants develop a desire for personal growth and life-long learning. Our students will acquire the skills, knowledge and attitudes to reach their full potential as citizens who can successfully meet the challenges of a changing global society.
